Service Policies

We have exciting news! We have installed a new Synexis bio-defense system. With this system, you are protected from harmful airborne and surface viruses, bacteria and microbials.

We take your health and safety and that of our staff very seriously. To that end, there are many other safety and sanitation initiatives that are being implemented as outlined below:

Sanitation Practices

We are incorporating extensive new and improved sanitation practices into every aspect of our operation, including hand sanitizer infused with Aveda aroma, continual disinfection and sanitation protocols, and the completion of the Barbicide Sanitation Certification test, which all our stylists have completed. The stylists’ Barbicide Sanitation Certificates are posted on their styling station.

Health & Safety

Upon arrival to the front door, for your protection and the protection of our other guests and staff, we ask that you fill out a digital Covid-19 service waiver. We also require your temperature be taken prior to entering the building for services.  If you have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or above, or if the answer to any of the following questions are yes, please reschedule your appointment a minimum of 14 days later and please do not enter the salon out of courtesy to others, as we will not be able to provide your service.

Questions to Consider

  • Have you had a fever?
  • Have you been around anyone exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days?
  • Are you living with anyone who is currently sick or quarantined?

Social Distancing

We are splitting our service providers into shifts, whereby reducing the number of people in the building by a minimum of 50%. Our service providers will be working in every other station, leaving an empty station to follow the recommended social distancing guidelines. We also have signs posted to assist with social distancing. Please be mindful that no more than six guests should be in the retail area at one time.

Extended Hours

Our hours of operation have been extended until further notice to be sure we may accommodate our guests:

  • Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 9:00pm
  • Friday – Saturday 9:00am – 7:30pm
  • Closed

Arrival Time

We ask that you arrive for your appointment no more than a few minutes before your appointment. If you arrive earlier, please wait in your car or outside, and come to the front door of the building shortly before your appointment time.

Masks

All of our staff will always be required to wear masks while in the building. We require that you wear a mask that is secured behind your ears to your appointment as well. If possible, please bring your own mask.  If you do not arrive with a mask, we will provide one for you at a minimal charge.

Shields

Our stylists will wear shields in addition to their mask while performing the shampoo portion of your service.

Shampoo & Blow Dry Information

Because of our Synexis bio-defense system, we are able to offer our full service cut and color luxury experience. For those guests who would prefer to spend less time in the building, they may request to forgo the complimentary shampoo and blow dry for their cut services only. Color services require a shampoo and partial dry as a minimum.

Touchless Greetings & Goodbyes

At this time, touchless greetings and goodbyes will be implemented to adhere to social distancing guidelines during your salon experience. However, air hugs and kisses are still welcome.

Changing Room Update

Our changing room will no longer be accessible. Cut and color clients will receive a sanitized cape for their service. Cut guests will also receive a Sanek strip, and color clients may receive a sanitized color robe upon request. These items will be placed over your garments.

Suspended Complimentary Services

We have suspended the following services during this time, until it is deemed safe by the CDC:

  • Scalp, neck, and shoulder massages 
  • Hand massages 
  • Makeup touch-up
  • Aroma journeys 
  • Blow dry lessons
  • Beverage services
  • Complimentary magazines

What To Bring

Please only bring your essentials into the salon like your purse/wallet, keys, and phone. Please do not bring any extra guests with you who are not receiving a service, including children. No pets will be permitted in the salon.

Cancellation Policy

To respect the time of all of our valued guests and our service providers, Aveda on 3rd requests a 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule salon appointments. Appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled without 24-hour notice will be charged in full. We understand that unavoidable issues come up and will do our best to work with you in the case of an emergency.

Scheduling

Please call (727) 820-3160 to book a new appointment or to verify a future appointment that has already been booked. We have worked diligently to try to reach all guests who requested appointments during our temporary closure or who had previously booked appointments. However, please call if you are not certain of your appointment date and time.
